The greatest symbol of division of history

What can I expect from the exhibition?

This is the only traveling exhibition about The Berlin Wall produced in collaboration with the Berlin Wall Foundation and a team of historians and experts. You will embark a comprehensive journey through the story of the Berlin Wall from its most personal perspective to its global aspect, as a key point of the Cold War; the facts that led to it, how it stood for almost 30 years dividing a city in half and its fall. With an accesible tour thanks to a clear storyline and narrated audio tour, you will easily go through the more than 200 original artifacts –including even the Wall itself– brought together by + 60 institutions, museums, and private lenders from all over the world.

The exhibition will be at Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine at 1. Pl. Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre. Open until September 28 2025.
